Finally got around to developing the other roll of film I took to Bradford, and despite a whole 10 pictures that didn’t come out (damn you, old film!) the ones that did make it were actually some of the better ones I took that day, which is always nice!
This is of a sports ground in Saltaire, just along the canal - I love the kinda eerie stillness about the terraces - they almost look abandoned…
After my car wouldn’t start one morning recently, I took a walk to work and found this in the church grounds just down my road
this is another pretty old one (i’ll get around to posting newer ones soon, trust me!) but i think it’s still worth a post.
i used to go for walks in the grounds of kirkstall abbey a lot, especially before i met sophie. i liked this picture as it has a really sweet autumnal feel to it, and the couple in the distance made a really nice focal point for the whole picture.
another one of the creepy fog shots… taken at the same place and same time as the other one. a good day for eerie photos :)
this one was taken years ago, when i was still in college.
i used to live in Baildon, Yorkshire, and had to walk down this big pathway that cut through a wood on my way to the train station every morning.
there’s a victorian tram that still goes up and down the hill, which is maintained by some brilliant volunteers, and i always have fond memories of riding it as an awe struck child.
in masham, north yorkshire. we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary, so took lots of pictures around the village square.
