Snow covered hills on the way to Sheffield via Manchester, just before Snake’s Pass.
I was in the Her name is Calla van as they had a few January dates in the UK supporting the amazing Cult of Luna, and I thought I’d tag along and sit on their merch desk. The weather had been really bad all weekend, but by the time the van headed for Sheffield, it stopped snowing, so we pulled over to appreciate the view a little.
A side street just down the road from me in Manchester. I had to take a few pictures to use up the roll of film on those Bradford shots, so thought this would do nicely :)
Ray’s/ Andrew’s Bakery in Manchester, just opposite the back entrance to Piccadilly station. I’m always fascinated by old shopfronts… they’re like the gravestones of commerce!
So glad this picture came out… have been trying to get a decent snap of this pretty legendary graffiti in Manchester’s Northern Quarter for ages now, so was delighted this came out so well…
The Soup Kitchen basement in Manchester last night. I was there DJing before Blondes, Illum Sphere and Die Hexen played. It was only a quick iPhone snap, but came out pretty well.
Taken a little while after we moved to Manchester, this little side street is just down the road from us. Probably taken in winter, judging from the snow!
One of the last shots I got on the B&W. It was taken in Sale, when me and Sophie were just walking around the town centre on a summer’s afternoon.
