Not sure what happened to the camera at this point, but I do like the dreamy element in all the grey dreariness. It was taken down by the Tjorn when me and Sophie were walking back to Russell’s house.
It was taken the day after we’d seen Sigur Rós as the final part of our Airwaves 2012 adventure, so the last two nights we were in Iceland were kind of wind-down ones, and were spent just generally ambling about downtown in the cold. It’d been lovely and bright up until this point, but those last two days were rainy, grey and windy. Probably a sign that we couldn’t beat that first few days topped off with SR in their hometown :)
Hipstamatic ftw- I’ve only just discovered the joys of it, so expect a lot more of these! This is the grand hotel in Scarborough yesterday, on a very grey drizzly Saturday.
a really dark and ghostly image of sophie, in the quarry bank mill, chester. seems fitting to upload this today.
i love how you can barely make out what’s happening here. my dear old polaroid digital camera (RIP) used to do some whacky stuff sometimes- here, for no apparent reason, it turned the contrast way down, or something, so it looks like this evil rolling fog, when it was a perfectly normal day outside. mental.
